Your local clinic has prepared you to benefit from all that WIC has to offer. This site offers reference information and additional resources. Remember, for most questions about WIC, the first place to start is your local ​WIC clinic​.

​2. How to set up and care for your eWIC card

Register your eWIC card at https://www.ebtedge.us/signin  

  • This will allow you to easily access your account balance and review your purchase history. 
  • You will need your eWIC card to register.

Set your PIN

Before you can shop with the eWIC card, you must set up a four-digit PIN for your card. Know your birthdate and zip code to set your PIN.

You can set your PIN in two ways: 

  1. ​Call the automated phone line at (844)-386‑3151.
  2. Go online to https://www.ebtedge.us/signin 

​If your PIN doesn't work?

  • If you forgot your PIN or need to change it, call (​844) 386‑3151.
  • If you enter the wrong PIN four times, it will be locked until midnight.
  • Call your WIC clinic during business hours for help.

Report lost, stolen, or damaged eWIC Cards
  • Contact your WIC clinic or call customer service at (844)-386‑3151.
  • Keep your card in a safe place, like a purse or wallet.
  • Keep your card away from magnets, electronics and sunlight.​

3. Use our WICShopper App

Steps to install the WICShopper App:

  1. ​​Install WICShopper from your APP store.
  2. Select Nebraska as your WIC Agency.
  3. Register using the 16-digit number on the front of your eWIC Card.
  4. Scan product bard codes to identify WIC-allowed foods as you shop.
  5. View your current benefits, allowable food list, recipes, and more right from the app.

​5. Shopping at the store

Choose a WIC approved store to shop for WIC foods:

  • Ask your local WIC agency for a list of approved stores. 
  • The WICShopper App shows a list of WIC-approved stores and provides directions. 
  • Look for the WIC "Shop Here" sticker at participating stores.

Check your eWIC food benefit balance in any of these ways:

  • Use the “My Benefits" feature in the WICShopper app. 
  • Call the automated phone line: (844)-386-3151.
  • Check the balance listed on your last shopping receipt.
  • Ask a cashier to print your WIC benefit balance before you shop.
  • Go online to https://www.ebt edge.us/signin​ ​
  • Note: any unused benefits expire on the last day of the month.


Checking out at the store:
  • The cashier will scan your items. You may use coupons, loyalty cards and discounts.
  • When the cashier tells you, swipe the eWIC card and enter the PIN, eWIC card must be used FIRST, before other payment types.
  • Approve your WIC purchase, then pay for any remaining balance with another form of payment. WIC foods cannot be returned once purchased.​
  • Keep you receipt! It has your remaining WIC food benefit balance.
