Formula Recall

​Some WIC-issued formulas are included in an FDA investigation and voluntary recall after four consumer complaints. This includes:

Similac, Alimentum, or EleCare powdered infant formulas if all of the following are true:

  • The first two digits of the code are 22 through 37; and 
  • The code on the container contains K8, SH or Z2; and 
  • The expiration date is 4-1-2022 (APR 2022) or later.

Public Comment for the Nebraska State WIC Plan

The Department of Health & Human Services annually prepares a State Plan for operation of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). The Department is currently in the process of developing this plan for the period of October 1, 2022 - Sept 30, 2023 and the public is encouraged to provide input. Learn more.  ​
