Women and Children receive $35 for Fruits and Vegetables!

As part of the American Rescue Plan Act, the WIC Cash Value Benefit (CVB) for fresh and newly added frozen fruits and vegetables will be temporarily increased to $35 for each WIC participant over 1 year of age. The Nebraska WIC Program will be issuing this increase to all of our eligible participants each month from "June through September 2021" - Learn more.  For more information about the new frozen fruit and vegetable options - Learn more.

Welcome to the Nebraska WIC Program home page.  We provide healthy food at no cost, breastfeeding support, nutrition information, and referrals to about 35,000 people across the state each month.  This page provides access to information about WIC for the public, WIC families, WIC Vendor Retailers, Health Care Providers, and Local Agency WIC Staff.
