Women and Children receive $35 for Fruits and Vegetables!

As part of the American Rescue Plan Act, the WIC Cash Value Benefit (CVB) for fresh and newly added frozen fruits and vegetables will be temporarily increased to $35 for each WIC participant over 1 year of age. Public Comment for the Nebraska WIC State Plan

​The Department of Health & Human Services annually prepares a State Plan for operation of the special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). The Department is currently in the process of developing this plan for the period of October 1, 2021 - September 30, 2022 and the public is encouraged to provide input. Learn more.
