The Disabled Persons and Family Support (DPFS) program assists persons of all ages who have a medically determinable severe, chronic disability diagnosed by a licensed medical professional. The program is designed to encourage the preservation of the family unit, maintaining independent living situations for the maximum level of independence, and for disabled adults to remain or become employed. Applicants found to be eligible may receive funding for authorized services up to $400 per month or $4,800 annually.
