Governor Pete Ricketts issued Executive Order 21-12 on August 26, 2021

​On August 26, 2021, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts issued Executive Order 21-12, expiring on December 31, 2021, which provides waivers of specific statutes and applicable regulations due to a hospital capacity emergency.  Review the Executive Order here.  An FAQ document will be forthcoming.
This Executive Order also made changes to License Renewal requirements.  Review those changes here.​

What is COVID-19:  Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is the infectious disease caused by the most recently discovered coronavirus—severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). This new virus and disease were unknown before the outbreak began in China, in December 2019.

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses which may cause illness in animals or humans. In humans, several coronaviruses are known to cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). (UPDATE August 2021)
