The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, popularly known as WIC, is a nutrition program for pregnant, breastfeeding women and families with children younger than 5.  In Nebraska, WIC helps approximately 35,000 people at over 100 clinic sites.


WIC helps eligible families with:

  • Pregnant Women
  • Breastfeeding women
  • New mothers
  • Infants
  • Children – up to age 5
  • Foster children – up to age 5​

How do I apply?

Step 1:  Find a WIC clinic near me 

Step 2:  Call a clinic near you to make an appointment

Step 3:  Bring proof of identification, address, and income to your WIC appointment
