The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is for Nebraskans 60 years or older, people with disabilities of all ages, family members, caregivers, and advocates. Local ADRCs provide information, referrals,​ and assistance for accessing community services and long-term care options.

​​​The ADRC provides the following services:

  • Information & Referral – A service that provides information about a full range of public and private long-term care programs, including services, providers, and resources.
  • Options Counseling – A service that assists individuals needing long-term care and their representatives to make informed choices about the services and settings that best meet their long-term care needs.
  • Transitional Options Counseling – A service that develops, implements, assesses, and follows up on plans for transition support. This includes the evaluation, treatment, and/or care of individuals experiencing a specific, time-limited problem,​ such as a transition from hospitalization or a group setting.
  • Benefits Assistance – A service that assists individuals with difficulty understanding and/or obtaining grants, payments, services, or other benefits for which they may be eligible.
  • Mobility Training – A service that promotes the appropriate use of public transportation services by an individual who does not own or cannot operate an automobile.
