LB 1173 tasks the legislative, executive, and judicial branches to develop a workgroup to advance a practice and finance model to transform child and family well-being in the state of Nebraska.
The LB 1173 Workgroup works in consultation with key stakeholders including judges from juvenile separate courts and judges of county courts sitting as juvenile courts, private child welfare providers, individuals with lived experience in the child welfare system. The LB 1173 workgroup consists of the following:
