This work group brings together a broad range of experts who report and evaluate data related to the prevention and treatment of behavioral health (mental health and substance abuse) disorders. The work group identifies data trends, and aims to fill those identified gaps. The work group started in 2007.
The work group meets at least 3 times a year.
Student Health and Risk Prevention (SHARP) The Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (NDHHS) coordinate the administration of the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS), Youth Tobacco Survey (YTS), and Nebraska Risk and Protective Factor Student Survey (NRPFSS). The Student Health And Risk Prevention (SHARP) Surveillance System is the umbrella uniting these three surveys (school surveys).
