Emergency Solutions Grant and Homeless Shelter Assistance Trust Fund Subrecipients

The Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program and Homeless Shelter Assistance Trust Fund provides funding for:

  • Street Outreach to engage homeless individuals and families living on the street
  • Emergency Shelters to improve the number and quality of emergency shelters for homeless individuals and families, and to assist with operational and service costs
  • Rapid Rehousing to quickly re-house homeless individuals and families
  • Homeless Preventions to avert families and individuals from becoming homeless
  • Data Collection (HMIS) to assist HUD and the Continuum of Care in determining service needs of homeless and at-risk of homeless individuals and families  

Agencies awarded ESG and HSATF funds agree to provide homeless assistance services by adhering to HUD and NHAP rules and regulations. For additional details on the ESG grant, please visit ​HUD's web​site.
