What you need to know

The voluntary Cancer Drug Repository Program was established in 2003. Through the program, cancer drugs are accepted for donation and dispensing to Nebraska residents.

The Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public Health is responsible for establishing and maintaining the program. DHHS will provide information to anyone wishing to donate or receive cancer drugs through the program.

In 2005, LB 331 created a Participant Registry that identifies those who accept donated cancer drugs.

The registry is updated every six months. Copies can be requested by contacting dhhs.medicaloffice@nebraska.gov.
