Lincoln, Neb. – Test Nebraska, a partnership between the State of Nebraska and Nomi Health, have reached a significant milestone this week: completing 750,210 COVID tests in both urban and rural communities throughout the state over the past year.

“The State of Nebraska, in partnership with Nomi Health, CHI St. Elizabeth, and others, acted decisively at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in establishing Test Nebraska," said Governor Pete Ricketts. "Test Nebraska was - and remains - one of the only programs in the country offering burden-free testing. This model ensures that Nebraskans are not required to show a doctor's note or proof of insurance to access a COVID-19 test."

Added Incident Commander Angie Ling: “Over 75% of Test Nebraska site locations are outside of major urban areas and we remain committed to continue testing throughout the state. While vaccinations continue, it is important to continue to remain vigilant and utilize Test Nebraska when necessary by visiting testnebraska.com."

“Nomi Health is proud to assist the State of Nebraska in supporting Test Nebraska and providing 750,000 COVID-19 tests throughout the last year," said June Steely, MD, medical director for Nomi Health. “From Scottsbluff to Omaha, the Nomi team has worked diligently to deliver burden-free testing to any Nebraskan.  Nomi remains committed to providing testing through its partnership with Gov. Ricketts and the State of Nebraska."
