Lincoln, NE – The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is announcing the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) Dashboard which will provide stakeholders and the public with information on the progress throughout the project.

“We are excited to launch the RHTP Dashboard as another step toward transparency and responsible stewardship in how we invest in the health of Nebraskans. This tool gives our partners and the public a clear view of where funding is going and how resources are being distributed across the various sectors that influence rural health," said Ashley Newmyer, DHHS Director of Public Health. “By making this information accessible, we are reinforcing our commitment to ensuring these resources are creating meaningful, lasting impact for communities across Nebraska."

This dashboard consists of three main areas, each designed to provide users with clear access to important information.

The RHTP awarded map provides information on the overall funding amounts awarded and where partners have received RHTP funds. Results can be filtered by geographic location (statewide, county, local health department, Health Care Advisory Region, Behavioral Health Region, legislative and congressional district, Educational Service Unit, or EMS region).

The facility and license type location map provides information on various healthcare professions across Nebraska and highlights the current required driving times to access these resources within Nebraska and neighboring states, in increments of 30, 60, and 90 minutes.

The data notes and references tab provides information about the program, the data used to create each map, and the dashboard's functionalities.
