Lincoln, NE – The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Division of Behavioral Health (DBH) recognizes transitionary periods, such as the summer season, as an opportunity to bring attention to behavioral health services in Central Nebraska.

“Access to behavioral health care is essential to providing all Nebraskans a comprehensive array of prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery services for mental health and substance use issues," said Dr. Thomas Janousek, Division of Behavioral Health Director. “Our goal is to remove barriers to help. Our partners do a tremendous job of building resilient communities and educating their local area. Informed community members help us carry out our mission and can be the strongest advocates to direct people toward assistance."

Region 3 Behavioral Health Services provides Nebraskans a network of providers for services and supports in times of crisis, adult, young adult, and youth mental health or behavioral health services, substance use services, peer support services, housing assistance, prevention resources, and advocacy. Region 3 and their network of providers are ready to help Nebraskans navigate their behavioral health challenge.
