What you need to know

​​The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) State Plan describes the CCDF program to be administered by the State of Nebraska for the period of 10/1/2022 through 9/30/2024. This plan is designed to assist with implementing the law under the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) of 2014. It is the primary mechanism that the Administration of Children and Families (ACF) determines Nebraska's compliance with the law.

​​CCDF State Plan 2022-2024 - Public Hearing​​​​

The Department of Health and Human Services held a public hearing to accept comments for the above state plan on June 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. (CT) at the following address:

Due to the current public health crisis, the agency enforced any Directed Health Measure Order on the size of gatherings that was in effect at the time of the hearing. In order to encourage participation in this public hearing, a phone conference line was set up for any member of the public to call in and provide oral comments. Interested persons were able to provide verbal comments by participating via phone conference line by calling 888-820-1398; Participant code: 3213662#. 

All interested persons were invited to attend and comment at the hearing, call in, or to submit comments in writing.  All comments were to be submitted in writing by 5:00 p.m. CT on June 16, 2021 and sent to the following address:​
