The Disaster Plan includes the provisions of emergency and temporary child care services as well as temporary operating standards for child cares during and after a disaster.
This plan outlines the coordination of post-disaster recovery of child care services and response planning for emergencies resulting from a natural disaster or man-caused event.
The plan addresses the need for child care providers to have evacuation, relocation, shelter-in-place and lock-down procedures as well as procedures needed for communication and reunification with families should these events occur.
