Lincoln – The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has opened a new facility in North Omaha to better serve residents of the area. The office opened this month and houses Division of Children and Family Services protection and economic assistance operations and Medicaid and Long-Term Care teammates.
“Governor Rickett's goals include developing a more efficient and effective state government and providing customer-focused services for Nebraskans," said Matthew Wallen, Director, Children and Family Services. “Adding an office in the North Omaha area meets both of those goals."
Services available to the public at the new office include application processing for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and other economic assistance programs.
The office is located at 5319 N 30th Street, Omaha, NE 68111.
