​​A resident dentist license is issued for a one year period to a dentist who holds a license in another state or jurisdiction and who is enrolled in an accredited school/college of dentistry in Nebraska for the purpose of completing a postgraduate or residency program.​

Application Procedures and Requirements

Applicants need to provide proof of:

  • License in another state/jurisdiction
  • Enrollment in a postgraduate or residency program

Renewal Information

Licenses are renewable one year from date of issuance for no fee and upon proof of enrollment in a postgraduate or residency program.
