The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments on proposed changes to Title 175, Chapter 9 of the Nebraska Administrative Code (NAC) – Hospitals.  The proposed changes clarify language for change of ownership; update federal citations; remove outdated reporting requirements; set requirements for hospital pharmacies biennial reporting of Controlled Substances Inventory; add requirements for submitting a plan of correction if deficiencies are found; remove section citations; and correct punctuation, grammatical, and typographical errors.

Authority for these regulations is found in Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-3117(7) and § 71-457.

The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments on proposed changes to Title 405, Chapter 2 of the Nebraska Administrative Code (NAC) – Nursing Facility Quality Assurance Assessment Act.  The proposed changes update the reduced quality assurance assessment from $1.98 per day to $3.00 per day, and update regulatory references to align the regulations with the Nebraska Attorney General's model rules for appeal process found in Title 53 NAC 4.
