Occupational health surveillance helps determine where, why, and how workers get injured or sick on the job. Tracking injuries, illnesses, and hazards at work helps monitor trends and guides prevention efforts.
Nebraska's Occupational Health Surveillance Program is funded by the CDC National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Goals of the Nebraska Occupational Health Surveillance Program are to reduce occupational injuries and illnesses and to promote healthy and safe workers and workplaces.
