​​​​​​September is Nebraska Recovery Month. DHHS has created a few materials for all to help spread awareness for Recovery Month and the Nebraska Recovery Month Event on September 29, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the North Steps of the Nebraska State Capitol. Everyone is welcome to join in celebrating the journey of recovery and please remember to wear purple!


​Call for Nominations

The Recovery Excellence Awards will recognize outstanding individuals and organizations who have made exceptional contributions in the fields of recovery, prevention, and behavioral health treatment. These awards aim to acknowledge and celebrate those who have dedicated their efforts to improving the lives of Nebraskans affected by substance use and misuse.

Please submit a nomination form by September 13, 2024. For questions, contact jennifer.ihle@nebraska.gov.
