- Time off: 2 weeks vacation plus 7 emergency days
Types of CFC Homes
Stability CFC Homes
Long-term placements focused on helping youth stabilize behaviors, build skills, and prepare for their permanency goal. Caregivers operate under a “no eject, no reject" commitment to maintain stability through challenges.
Triage CFC Homes
Short-term placements (30–60 days) providing crisis stabilization while the clinical team completes assessments to determine the appropriate level of care. After assessment, the youth transitions to the most suitable longer-term placement.
Placement & Support
The CFC team matches youth to an available CFC home based on strengths, needs, and fit. Stability homes commit to no eject/no reject to support continuity. CFCSs provide ongoing coaching, crisis support, and coordination with the youth's team. Families receive training, peer support, and respite.
