iServe​: The Department of Health and Human Services administers and manages eligibility for Medicaid and Economic Assistance programs through iServe. iServe is a convenient, online way to apply for the following Nebraska Medicaid and Economic Assistance programs: Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Aid to Dependent Children (ADC), Aid to Aged, Blind, Disabled (AABD) Payment, Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), State Disability Program, Child Care Subsidy, Refugee Resettlement Program, and Social Services for the Aged and Disabled (SSAD)

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families in Nebraska is called Aid to Dependent Children (ADC). The program provides cash assistance to low-income families with minor children. ADC income is used to pay for family living expenses like rent, utilities, food, clothing, and other necessities. ADC is often the only source of cash assistance for a family.

The Nebraska Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

The Nebraska Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps people with limited incomes offset the cost of heating and cooling their homes. The program will partially pay the cost of electricity, fuel oil, gas, coal, wood, kerosene, propane, or other fuel source.

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is the special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants and children. The Nebraska WIC Program provides healthy food at no cost, breastfeeding support and nutrition information to about 38,000 people across the state each month.

Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

The Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) is part of Nebraska Medicaid and provides medical assistance to children age 18 and younger.
