What is ONE tip you would like to give to a jobseeker?
Take a look at the job advertisement, not just the qualifications section of the ad.  The descriptions of duties is letting you know what is needed to be successful in terms of experience.  If you have education or experience that is needed, make sure it is included in your application or resume . . . and do include any experience or education you have that is requested in the requirements as well.  ​

What is ONE tip you would like to give to a jobseeker? Don't be afraid to ask for feedback if you are not offered the position you have interviewed for. One of the goals of this Talent Acquisition team is to try and help obtain your career goals and if interviewing is something you need further assistance with, we can certainly try and help!

Random Fact: I was once on Nickelodeon as a 7th grader and got camera shy and passed out!  They obviously didn't air my segment. ​

What is ONE tip you would like to give to a jobseeker? when you are rejected over and over again, and it will happen, surround yourself with the people who care about you. But, also be open to guidance from someone impartial who can help you find ways to improve your approach. 
Misc. Random Fact: I love things other people find unlovable - snakes, bats, and spiders

What is your favorite thing about your position? I love being able to provide applicants with an enjoyable experience being onboarded to their new position.

What areas do you assist in onboarding? I assist in onboarding in several different areas.  MLTC, Operations, SESA, NSA, &  WSA.
How long have you been a TAA? Since October 2020
What is your favorite thing about your position? I like being a part of assisting the candidate in starting their new position. It is the start of a new relationship, it may be brief but in a short amount of time, it is our goal to make the process a positive experience.
Misc. Random Fact: I grew up in Vail, Colorado. My mom worked for the ski company and our year-round ski passes were $5.00 a YEAR!!!  Today the cost is over $200.00 for a DAY.  Yes, this ages me a bit.  J.  We used to go Christmas caroling in the beautiful town of Vail.  Such good memories!

How long have you been a TAA? Since October 2016
What is your favorite thing about your position? I really enjoy my daily personal interaction with newly hired employees.  I make it my goal to walk them through the onboarding process as efficiently and smoothly as possible.  It is an extremely rewarding experience to make such a difference in someone's career with DHHS.
Misc. Random Fact: While living in Florida on a visit to St Augustine I drank out of Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth

What is your favorite thing about your position? Assisting and recruiting the most qualified candidates to fill positions within the Department of Health and Human Services, ultimately helping people to live better lives
Misc. Random Fact: I enjoy gardening and look forward to working in the soil. I get excited when the garden centers are open for Spring planting and when my flowers start popping out and bursting with beautiful colors!!
