Lincoln – Dr. Gary Anthone, CMO/Director of Public Health for the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), has finalized his visits to communities throughout Nebraska next week in order to recognize their efforts and to say thank you to local health departments and hospitals for their work during the pandemic.​

Monday, June 14, CHI Health-St. Francis in Grand Island from 8:30-10:00.  Central District Health Department at 10:00 for an hour.  South Heartland Health Department in Hastings at noon for an hour.

Tuesday, Kearney and CHI Health –Good Samaritan from 8:00 – 9:30. Kearney Regional Medical Center from 10:00 – 11:30. Two Rivers Health Dept. in Holdrege from noon – 1:00. Lexington Regional Medical Center from 2:00 – 3:00. Gothenburg Memorial from 4:00 –5:00.

Wednesday, Scottsbluff and Panhandle Health Depts. from 12:30 -2:00. Regional West Medical Center from 2:30 - 4:00.

Thursday, West Central Health Dept. at 8:30 until 9:30 in North Platte. Southwest Health Dept. from 10:00 – 11:00 in McCook.

Friday, Great Plains Hospital in North Platte from 9:00 – 11:00.  While in North Platte, Dr. Anthone will participate in the NEBRASKAland Days Parade on Saturday, June 19, which begins at 1:00 pm.
