Physician Assistant

A Physician Assistant means any person who graduates from a program approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ACR-PA), who satisfactorily completes Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) offered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA); and whom the Board of Medicine and Surgery and Department of Health and Human Services approves to perform medical services under the supervision of a physician or group of physicians approved by the board to supervise a Physician Assistant.
