     Emergency Medical Services Program
 
                   EMS MODEL PROTOCOLS UPDATED 4-24-17
The EMS Program focuses on ensuring quality patient care throughout the state.  It is divided into four separate regions:  Western, Central, Northeast and Southeast. Each region has its own dedicated EMS Specialist.
  
 
The Emergency Medical Services program staff provides support for out-of-hospital providers and Emergency Medical Services including technical assistance, continuing education and training, Physician Medical Director training, and leadership development.
 
EMS Recognition:
The EHS program will recognize an individual(s) within your service for years of service, a code save, child birth, or any other recognition. To do so, please fill out and send in the EMS Recognition Form
 
The EMS Specialists provide technical assistance regarding a variety of issues (i.e. system development, rules and regulations, statutes, protocol and policy development, documentation, quality improvement, recruitment, recognition, mandatory reporting regulations, education, significant exposure procedures, and systems of care).
