The Toxic Stress Steering Committee is utilizing a Collective Impact approach to their charge: Create and promote a multi-system, strategic plan for the identification, prevention, and mitigation of toxic stress in young children aged 0-3 years in Nebraska.
 
Collective Impact has 5 key elements. 
 
Collective Impact - 1. Common Agenda  2. Shared Measurement  3. Mutually Reinforcing Activities  4. Continuous Communication  5. Backbone Support Organization
