Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)
Is a USDA program which provides commodity foods, nutrition education and referral services to seniors 60 & over, pregnant/post-partum women and children under 6 each month who are at nutritional risk due to low income and poor diet. Call 1-800-942-1171. Individuals cannot participant in WIC and CSFP at the same time however one family member can be on WIC while another is on CSFP.
Supplemental Food Assistance Program (SNAP)
Formerly known as Food Stamps, helps low-income people buy food.
Medicaid
Pays for covered medical services for those persons who are unable to afford to pay for medically necessary services and who meet certain eligibility requirements.
