Apply for WIC in 3 Easy Steps

Step 1: Find a WIC clinic.

  • There are over 110 clinics in Nebraska, so there's probably one close to you.
  • To find the WIC clinic closest to your home click "Find a WIC clinic" on the left.
Step 2: Call to make an appointment.
  • Call or visit the regional WIC clinic for your area to schedule an appointment.
  • Friendly WIC staff will help you schedule an appointment and will answer your questions about WIC.
  • The appointment to determine if you are eligible only takes about 30-45 minutes. For information about eligibility click Who is Eligible? on the left.
Step 3: Bring identification, proof or address, and proof of income to your WIC appointment.
  • WIC staff will talk with you and fill out the information needed. You do not have to fill out a lot of paperwork.
  • Eligible clients get WIC checks for food on the same day of their appointment.
