DHHS Vital Records Office effective June 15, 2018 is listing the following required notice as part of the electronic death certificate form “Pursuant to section 30-2413, demands for notice which may affect the estate of the deceased are filed with the county where the decedent resided at the time of death.”
Deaths were required to be filed with the State of Nebraska beginning in 1904. This page has been established to provide Physicians, Funeral Directors, County Attorneys and County Coroners responsible for registering death certificates access to the resources and information necessary to continue registering vital records in an accurate and timely manner.
