Nebraska Radon Program Poster Contest
In an effort to raise radon awareness among students, Nebraska Radon Program partners with local health departments to hold a statewide poster contest each year for children ages 9 – 14.
2010 Winners Announced! Congratulations to the winners of the 2010 Nebraska Radon Poster Contest. Three posters were recently selected as the winners of contest, which are shown below. The top three posters were entered into the National Radon Poster Contest sponsored by Kansas State University in partnership with EPA. The national winners receive an all-expenses paid trip to the award ceremony in Washington D.C. on January 14, 2011. The first place winning poster will also be posted on National Radon Program Services website.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's contest. There were more than 300 radon posters created in Nebraska, and we hope to have many more submitted for next year's contest. Information on the 2011 Nebraska Radon Poster Contest will be posted here soon.
