Nebraska Radon Program Licensing & Training
To conduct radon measurements or install radon mitigation systems in Nebraska, both individuals and businesses must obtain the appropriate licenses. Visit the License Lookup page to see if a particular person is licensed. To view a complete list of licensed businesses in both professions, click here
Licensed Radon Professionals in Nebraska are governed specifically by statutes contained in the Radiation Control Act (a set of laws to protect occupational and public health and safety by regulating sources of radiation) and the Uniform Credentialing Act (a set of laws to standardize regulation of persons and businesses providing health and health-related and environmental services). The laws in these Acts are further clarified by a set of regulations specific to Licensed Radon Professionals contained in Title 180 NAC Chapter 11.
