Community Activities
The Nebraska Radon Program conducts many activities to increase radon awareness, including:
- Provides funding to local public health departments and other non-profit organizations
- Coordinates the annual Nebraska Radon Poster Contest
- Conducts free school testing
- Audits of licensed businesses
- Mitigation system inspections
- Distribute radon Public Service Announcements
- Provide technical assistance and training
