Screen time activities, such as watching TV, playing video games, and using the computer, take a lot of time away from the physical activity that youth and adults need every day to be healthy.
Children and adults who have less screen time and more physical activity are less likely to be overweight, are sick less often, perform better in school, sleep better, and are less likely to feel sad, depressed, or stressed.
