The Fuzzin Frank campaign discusses sexual health and safe sex practices in a light-hearted way. Its purpose is to make it comfortable for people to get the facts, get tested and get involved to help prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases in Nebraska.
The goal of this campaign is to raise and sustain awareness of sexual health issues among Nebraskans in order to reduce the stigma associated with such topics and increase numbers of people getting tested for HIV/AIDS and STDs.
The problem is out there. How much longer can it be ignored? More than one million people are living with HIV in the U.S. and one in five people nationwide with HIV are unaware of their status.
