All CRNA certifications issued by the Department expire on October 31st of each even-numbered year. To renew a state certification, the applicant must submit the renewal notice, show evidence of current national certification/recertification and pay the renewal fee of $68 dollars. In addition, a CRNA renewal applicant must have an active RN license in Nebraska or a multi-state license from another compact state. CRNAs who fail to renew their certification by October 31st will automatically have their state certification placed on an expired status and they will need to apply for reinstatement.
