Massage Therapy
Examination Information

Nebraska will accept the following Examinations for licensure:

  1. The National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCETMB) or the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage (NCETM) or the Advanced Certification Examination (ACE) developed by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB); or
  2. The Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) developed by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB).

You must directly register with National Certification Board (NCTMB) or the Federation (FSMTB) in order to take the examination. In order to practice massage therapy in Nebraska, you must first obtain a Nebraska license.
