Examinations

Written Examinations pdf iconApplication

The examination is the IC&RC Written ADC Examination. It is a computer-based test (CBT).

Test Application: The applicant must complete the Application for the Written Examination for Alcohol and Drug Counseling and submit it along with the examination fee to the Department.

Test Pre-Registration: Upon receipt of a complete examination application, the Department will pre-register the individual's eligibility to take the examination. The individual will have a one (1) year testing cycle in which the examination may be taken.

Test Registration: After the Department has pre-registered the individual, s/he will receive an e-mail from the testing entity (SMT/IQT). The e-mail will provide the information needed for the candidate to register for a date, time, and location to take their examination.

 

Reminder: An individual must hold a provisional license as an alcohol and drug counselor (PLADC) in Nebraska to be eligible to apply for the written examination.
