Becky Wisell
Program Manager

Medical & Specialized Health Section

Veterinary Technicians perform delegated animal health care tasks under the supervision of veterinarians. Only a licensed veterinary technician may advertise or offer his or her services in a manner that leads others to believe that he or she is a veterinary technician.

Important information about applying for VTNE:

Application for the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) must be made with the American Association of Veterinary State Boards. For more information see examination requirements.
