Any person working on a Lead project or in a Lead occupation in Nebraska must obtain a license.

A Lead occupation means a worker, supervisor, inspector, project designer, risk assessor (includes licensure as an inspector), visual lead hazard advisor, or elevated blood lead level investigator.  License means an authorization issued by the Department permitting an individual to work in a lead occupation. 

Abatement or abatement project means any measure or set of measures designed to permanently eliminate lead-based paint hazards.
