The National Diabetes Prevention Program
, is an evidence-based lifestyle change program for preventing type 2 diabetes. It has encouraged healthy lifestyle changes in participants, which has helped individuals cut their risk of diabetes in half. Meetings are held by a lifestyle coach for a period of one-year.
