Public Health Data Inventory
Public health practitioners often rely on health data in order to research health problems and evaluate public health interventions. The Public Health Data Inventory was developed to help increase awareness of existing data related to public health, as well as to simply the process for data requests.

Access the Public Health Data Inventory
Researchers and public health practitioners can request to receive certain data from datasets in the inventory. The Division of Public Health takes its responsibility to protect the confidentiality of health data very seriously. Use the form below for requesting data within the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). For non-DHHS data, please contact the data owner listed at the bottom of the each data description page.
The availability of the data requested are determined by corresponding data owners and applicable state statutes.

Program managers and others data stewards can fill out the form below to have a dataset they manage added to the Public Health Data Inventory. Datasets will be added to the inventory periodically.
