Statistical Profiles have been developed for all 93 counties in Nebraska and for the three Health and Human Services System (DHHS) Service Areas.
In addition, we have prepared profiles for each of the 18 local and district health departments, the three Congressional Districts in Nebraska, and the six old DHHS Service Areas. Each profile also contains data for the state as a whole for purposes of comparison.
The Profiles provide a wealth of health and human service data, including demographics, social indicators, health status data, maternal and child health data, risk prevalence data, environmental data, and service availability/utilization data.
Profile Highlights are also available for each of the counties, Service Areas (current and “old”), local/district health departments, and Congressional Districts in Nebraska. The Highlights provide a brief analysis of some of the many indicators presented in the Profiles in narrative form. |

It is strongly recommended that you also download a copy of 2005 County Profiles Definitions and Data Sources which will help you to interpret the data contained in the profiles.
