Youth Residential Treatment Services
Youth residential treatment services are clinically necessary services provided to clients who require professional, medical, and highly structured 24-hour care at a greater intensity than that available in an Outpatient setting. Starting July 2011, Nebraska Medicaid will reimburse youth residential treatment services for only the following two levels of care: Therapeutic Group Home and Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility.
Throughout 2010-2012, Nebraska Medicaid will be working through our compliance plan with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) related to these residential treatment services. As updates and information are available they will be posted to this page.
