To be eligible to participate in the Nebraska Medical Assistance Program (NMAP), the provider shall meet the general standards for all providers in Nebraska Administrative Code, Title 471, Chapters 1-000, 2-000, and 3-000, if appropriate, and the standards for participation for that provider type. The standards for participation are listed in each provider chapter. The Department shall not pay a provider who is required to be licensed and/or certified but who is not licensed and/or certified at the time of service.
