Transportation

Transportation resources for older persons within our State include both public and private providers. Public providers range widely from the fixed-route buses in Lincoln and Omaha to on-demand public transit which is more common in our remaining Counties. Private providers include local taxis and specialized transportation providers. Medicaid and the Home & Community Based services pay for transportation services for eligible older persons.
