Senior Companion Volunteer Program
The Nebraska Senior Companion Volunteer Program provides volunteer community service opportunities to older persons for the benefit of frail elderly. This program is an important supplement to available in-home and community support services. The Senior Companion Volunteer can be either a low-income person who receives a stipend for hours of service or a person who donates their time. Services provided to frail elderly individuals range widely from in-home visitation to transportation escorts.
