Doors opened May 2012, with Pat Sookram visualizing the Art Studio and James Bush running the business. Arts and crafts went from being an “activity,” to an opportunity to use artistic skills to produce quality, marketable products. Individuals are encouraged to explore what the Studio has to offer.
Some people work on their own projects, which they consign for sale in the Gift Shop.
Other people take part in working on specific steps to produce projects (i.e. – priming wood for painting, cutting pictures for decoupage projects). These people are paid an hourly wage.
