While several children are still listed on the DHHS site, we are in the process of transferring them to the Nebraska Heart Gallery.
Requirements for Inquiry about a Child: You must have a current adoption home study approving you for adoption in order to make inquiry about a specific child. Please submit a copy of your home study with your inquiry about a specific child. Residents of Nebraska will be required to go through TIPS-MAPP 30 hour training and licensure prior to obtaining placement. For more information on obtaining a home study and becoming licensed for foster/adoption, please contact the Nebraska Foster Adoptive Parent Association at 1-800-7-Parent (402) 476-2273, or visit their website at www.nfapa.org.
For residents outside Nebraska, a current home study approving you for adoption is required to make inquiry on behalf of the child. Becoming approved or licensed for adoption in your state of residence is required in order to obtain placement.”
