Peoples Council
The OCA People’s Council was designated to facilitate coordination required under the law between the Regions and the Office of Consumer Affairs around consumer involvement in all aspects of service planning and delivery in the Region. There are 14 members that are appointed by the Director of Behavioral Health at DHHS Nebraska.
“The Administrator of the Division shall establish and maintain an Office of Consumer Affairs within the Division.
The Program Administrator for Consumer Affairs shall be responsible for all administration and management of the Office.” - LB 1083 (2004)
